  2. "Sex Beat" was probably Gun Club's most straightforward punk rock song; most of their debut record, Fire of Love, was rooted firmly in Delta and country-blues traditions, revved up with hardcore punk energy to something like psychobilly. But the boys always sound as if they are loose cannons.

  4. Released in "The Las Vegas Story" was possibly the most complete and unrushed Gun Club LP again to be released on Animal records. Produced by Jeff Eyrich this LP saw the band experiment more with covering show tunes like Gershwins "My Mans Gone Now" and a killer take on Pharoah Sanders' "The Creator Has A Master Plan".
